Olive themed wedding in Crete

Daisy & Peter

Daisy and Peter came to us, determined to declare their love in front of their family and friends and to get legally married in Agreco Farm.

With Crete being famous for its olive groves and taking into consideration the rustic and traditional style this venue has to offer, it came without saying when starting working on the styling and the concept of the wedding that this wedding should have a touch of elegance, a whiff of tradition and lots of romance. This was achieved by using the venue style as a base and enrich this rustic style with fine art de la table pieces, romantic candles lighting, mason jars hang on the old olive tree and fairy and bulb lights.

No words were enough to describe our couple’s and our happiness when the wedding day has come. After all difficulties covid posed to the planning process, their family and friends were finally in Crete and ready to celebrate their wedding.

We will never forget how emotional the ceremony was, especially when the bride walked down the aisle escorted by her mother and for the fact that the bride’s best friend along with the mayor officiated the legal binding.

What surprised us the most that evening, was finding out a Dutch tradition, which was kept in this wedding as well, since the groom is half Dutch. According to this tradition, the parents should compose a song and sing it to their child during the speeches. But who could ever imagine that could be a rap song?

The night was still young when the DJ signaled the start for the party and if there were no time restrictions due to covid, we bet that the party would keep going until sunrise.

As the bride said, Covid vs D&P: 0-1 ?
