Burgundy wedding by the lake in Athens Riviera

It is said that you can always tell when it’s love at first sight! Well, correct, as we will never forget our first phone call, when we heard a kind, French accent – English speaking gentleman, asking for our assistance in planning his and his future wife’s catholic wedding in Greece. And time passed by and a year and a half later everything was ready for Jayson and Marie-France’s wedding!

The religious ceremony took place at the most grandiose church, the Catholic Cathedral of St.Dionysious in the heart of Athens. Having chosen a burgundy/cinnamon color scheme, the decorations matched perfectly with the magnificent church interior. Wedding bells rang, the choir started to sing and the ushers the couple has arranged coordinated the procession march. It was definitely one of the most touching ceremonies we have ever witnessed!

The reception and the wedding party was organized at Lake Vouliagmeni in Athens Riviera. The gold details in the decoration, along with the various shades of dark red, the wood touches and the fairy lights were in total harmony with the natural environment of the lake. Jayson & Marie-France have arranged many happenings for their guests, from cake games, to dance contests and famous DJs from abroad, and the guests returned the favor with many surprises and heart-warming speeches.

During one of our many many calls, the couple claimed that French-Filipinos are greater party animals than Greeks, and although we initially doubted that, we have to admit that those guys gave their everything to celebrate Jayson & Marie-France’s love!
